Overall Comment
This is our third year visiting Holiday Surf and first time for this unit. The unit is very nice with just about everything you need for your stay. the unit has amazing views and is very comfortable. My only critic would be that I of liked better cookware, such as pan. We stay for two weeks and it was difficult to prepare a few items. Overall this is a great unit.

Great property/unit with a fabulous view

Overall Comment
The newly renovated unit (722) was very well done. Top of the line finishes and tasteful décor. The patio offered a fantastic view of the sunsets. We did not get to use the free beach service in that it started March 1. The Holiday Surf and Racquet Club is very clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming and fun. We stayed 2 weeks and would definitely recommend this unit and property.

Holiday Surf is an awesome place to stay and Unit #722 is one of our favorite of all the ones we have stayed in. Nicely remodeled - great view of the gulf - awesome beach service. Spent most of our time on the beach but also snorkeled and rented a jet ski. Destin restaurants never disappoint, especially The Local Market! Kitchen is very nice but would be convenient to have a potato peeler and a pair of scissors. Definitely plan to return to Holiday Surf and unit #722 will be on the top of our list!

This space was very clean with great function! The kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed to cook and prepare meals minus the groceries. The views were amazing from the balcony. The beach service was convenient and the staff were very helpful!
The one hiccup we had was upon arrival...our deadbolt was not functional. Check in was after 4 so by the time we got there to unload everything and get settled in, it was a bit unnerving to need to leave with no way to secure our luggage...etc to go get food to stock the kitchen for the next days or food for the night. It was also inconvenient to not be able to leave the room to even take a walk on the beach knowing we couldn’t secure our unit. I was a bit frustrated knowing that check out time is at 10 am and we couldn’t check in until after 4pm and this was the first problem we encountered upon arrival. I felt like this was a very important maintenance problem that should have been fixed prior to our arrival, knowing the unit was going to be occupied for the week.
We notified the staff and they attempted to call the after hours locksmith team who did not respond after multiple calls.
I felt the staff did as best they could and offered their support and needless to say we had the maintenance guy arrive first thing the next morning and this was fixed. We thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our stay without any additional hiccups.
The WiFi in the unit was not initially working due to incorrect login info. This was easily corrected upon our arrival and was never really a problem.
We enjoyed our experience here and despite the initial problem with the lock we would definitely stay here again! It was a great family atmosphere!
