We have stayed in multiple homes over the years and this has been our favorite so far. Beautiful updated home with convenient location to pool and Baytown wharf. House is well planned for guests providing beach toys, bikes, clubs for putting in the back yard, extra blankets and pillows, etc. Six seater golf cart is in good working condition. We all had an amazing stay with no issues.

This house was decorated very well, was SO conveniently located with endless amenities available. We stayed here with two kids, each having their own separate rooms which was really nice. We had a great stay here. Highly recommend this house.

We had a great time at the home and enjoyed the use of the golf cart to get to the beach, theater, shopping, wharf area, and pool. The home is clean, comfortable, and well maintained with plenty of space. The pool was great. The beach area was a little crowded but the easy access made up for it. The gate attendant on duty on the day we arrived seemed to think we should know what he needed from us and was frustrated that we did not. That is my only complaint.

2nd stay at Golfing Around felt like home

We first stayed here on 2021 as my daughter wanted to go to Destin for her senior trip but also wanted her grandma and dog to be able to go. This was the perfect location and had all the amenities with my mom being older we needed to rooms on the first floor, dog friendly and a golf cart which this home had all that and much more! The location is perfect to hit the beach, go shopping, grab Starbucks, ride bikes and even catch a game of pickle ball! This last year my mom was diagnosed with cancer and the home is all she talked about how she loved sitting on the porch and drinking her coffee! Well my other daughter just graduated and wanted a repeat of 2021 so we booked the exact home so that we could make mom mom and daughter happy! When we pulled up it was as if we were back home! It was exactly how we left it! The open concept and beach decorations just makes it feel like it's still a new home and up to date! The staff is amazing as well every time I called I was able to speak with the same lady who helped me book my reservation and she was the sweetest!

Great house with large rooms

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property! The house was VERY clean when we arrived, and the rooms were all very large with walk-in closets (big enough that you could fit a portable crib in). The kitchen had both a coffee pot and kurig, however it was lacking in basic pantry items (usually houses we have stayed at have at least some cooking oil and a handful of seasonings). Non-issue but just know you need to bring absolutely everything!
