This was our 30th year to stay. Didn’t disappoint! All the staff are great at what they do. We had to call the front desk because we didn’t have a pod coffee maker. Within 10 minutes we had one! Thank you Alex! Will definitely be back next year! Our room was spotless. Thanks again for another great stay!

As always it was a great experience. The night custodian went above and beyond to help us out when we were leaving. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The only inconvenience we had was a burnt out light bulb above the kitchen sink.

The condo was clean, and we were able to check in early when our flight was changed. Super easy check in/out. The beach attendants were very helpful finding us chairs. I would definitely stay again. This property is an a excellent spot, and close to good restaurants.

This rental was clean and had a great view. This is our 4th stay at the Holiday Surf and racquet club and we love the location. Great beaches, family friendly atmosphere. The only thing that would keep us from renting this particular condo again was that the beds were very uncomfortable. I would recommend purchasing new mattress for 505.

Wehave stayed at Holiday Surf every fall for the past 10 years, each vacation has been a wonderful experience...until this one. This was a last-minute booking in unit 505 which we had never stayed in before. While it is decorated fairly nicely and looks good in the pictures we found several problems. Kitchen faucet not working properly, ice maker not working, refrigerator door handle broken, water leaked in floor when dishwasher in use, sand was still on the living area floors, bed sheets had been tightened and made to appear to have been changed but upon inspection we found hairs of varying length in the sheets with sand still in one of the beds, the 2nd bedroom bed is a cheap, thin-mattressed outfit below the quality found in most rental trailers. Kudos to mgmt. upon being made aware of the problems, they refunded the cleaning fee, had someone bring fresh clean sheets for the beds, still, this unit needs attn from the owner to bring it up to par with other units in the bldg.

So we enjoyed our stay. However, if you are worried about covid you may want to avoid this complex. There was only supposed to be 15 people in the pool and there were typically around 40. We didn't care because we didnt use the pool. Also only saw 1 employee wearing a mask.

Great value! It’s difficult to find a rental that is geared toward adults only. Rental 505 has a king and queen with sofa bed. Other resorts were just too expensive that we found with this set up. The unit was clean and beds slept well. View is amazing and we will be back!

We loved everything about the condo including the beach access and chair set up. Staff was great, building well cared for and clean. The condo itself is nicely decorated, great layout and great view of the gulf. Looked recently freshened up with paint, beds comfortable, kitchen has just about any thing you need for cooking. Only negative I had were the bathrooms, they need to be updated. At very least the caulk/grout in tubs should be replaced. Mold is inevitable in that environment but its an easy update. It wasn't a show stopper because the place really was very clean, great location, lots of restaurants to choose from (we recommend LuLus and Rockin Tacos (just over in Fort Walton) for eats. Sit on the balcony enjoy a beverage and listen to the waves. We'd stay here again.

Overall condition of building and grounds is excellent. Significant renovations to building and grounds in past couple years. Location of building, right on the beach is beautiful and convenient. View from balcony of Unit 505 is excellent. Great sunrise view in December and January. Interior (furniture, furnishings and appliances) of unit 505 is very dated. Large flat screen TVs in living room and both bedrooms. Good internet and cable connections. Sleeper sofa very uncomfortable to sit on. All units in the property are not created equal. Some owners have renovated and updated their units, some have not. Unit 505 is probably middle of the pack.

The unit has a nice layout and is very open. The view from the balcony was amazing and loved drinking my coffee on it each morning and watching the dolphins. The staff was very friendly. We used the grills one night which are cleaned daily and that was a lot of fun eating outside. As far as the unit, the only suggested improvements are buying new pillows for the master bedroom as they are very flat, replacing one of the lamp shades near the couch that was only hanging by a clip, and putting real blinds in the master bedroom vs paper shades. I had forgotten from growing up on the east coast just how bright it is early in the morning. Other than that, this unit is VERY nice.

We arrived very early in the morning, 4:30am to be exact. The night staff was very friendly and helpful since the desk didn't open until 7:00am. We arrived to find the rental in good condition and comfortable overall. The Condo is definitely used but nothing was dirty or broken, it just gets a lot of use. The resort was very family friendly and well cared for.

The location is great and the beach is awesome. The unit was well appointed with nice furniture. Only complaint was that some things were broken. There was a paper cover over the bedroom window that you had to fold up slowly and hold with some clips. Also some instructions on how to use the TV and DVD would have saved us some time figuring it out.

Our second visit to Destin was chilly, but our accommodations were great! We find Holiday Surf and Racquet Club a perfect spot, right on the water with breathtaking ocean views. You can see the dolphins go by every day. The room was super comfortable for three adults -- you could fit a couple more -- and it was nice to have the big flat screen TVs for viewing the NCAA basketball tournament. Yes, it was cold this week, but we walked the beach every day and the pool was warm enough to swim. It's nice to be tucked back off the busy main drag way. We will definitely return.
