36th Annual Seafood Festival

seafood festThe fall season brings festivals along the coast from Seagrove Beach to the Destin Harbor. One of the biggest festivals of the year is the annual Seafood Festival. This year we are more excited than usual since the last festival was cancelled due to bad weather. Tropical storms better stay away so we can all enjoy the festival as we have for many years. Along the Harbor, tons of vendors will set up with a huge variety of food and drinks. Of course, fresh caught local seafood will be the main attraction but many Destin restaurants will have meals available. Once again, the festival is free admission but donations are accepted at the front entrance. Over 60,000 are expected to attend and enjoy the food, crafts, and live music on three different stages. The lineup includes local favorites Heritage, Jones and Company, Cadillac Willie, and the Forrest Williams Band. This will be a three day event on October 3rd-5th and fireworks will close out the festival. What a great occasion to see what the area has to offer on your Destin vacation!
