90 Days of Summer Along the Emerald Coast of Florida-Miramar Beach

June 20th marks the onset of summer. We have 90 days from summer solstice to enjoy our favorite season of the year. On the Emerald Coast of Florida, summer means long days on powder white sand and in emerald green waters. It means breathtaking sunsets and outdoor activities every day of the week. How will you spend your 90 days of summer at Miramar Beach?

Miramar Beach is on the western end of the beaches of South Walton and the next-door neighbor of Destin beach. We love the city vibe of Miramar Beach without losing that Emerald Coast feel. Five miles of powder white sand running along emerald green waters makes this the best beach to walk on!

Miramar Beach has plenty of shopping and restaurants. If ever your summer vacation throws you some raining days, Miramar Beach has you covered with Silver Shells outlet mall. It is also home to scenic 98. A scenic road that runs along side beautiful powder white sand and emerald green waters. There are several public beach accesses along the way so stepping on to white sand is never a problem.

What are some of our favorite Miramar Beach activities during summer? After a long day at the beach there is nothing like heading to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for a live music concert. Sit back and relax under the stars while listening to talented local and regional artists perform weekly.

Another one of our favorite celebrations during summer in Miramar Beach is the 4th of July. There is an amazing firework show at the Events Plaza in the Village as well as live music and kid’s activities throughout the night. With several venues lighting up the sky with fireworks, you can always stay in your cozy Miramar Beach vacation rental and watch from the balcony!

Summer always goes by way to fast, especially here on the Emerald Coast of Florida. Book your Miramar Vacation Rental soon. Enjoy your 90 days of summer with beautiful beaches, good friends and Destin fun!
