Celebrate Independence Day at Smoke on the Coast

Destin, Florida has a number of regular fireworks shows around town. But Smoke on the Coast might be the tastiest event with fireworks. The 5th annual BBQ and fireworks festival will fill the streets of Destin Commons on Friday, July 3rd. The big event will begin at 2pm and offer samples from over 20 local restaurants. The best BBQ will be voted on with the People’s Choice Award announced in the evening. Along with great food and drinks, live entertainment will be provided by local bands Heritage and The Wide Open. The evening will conclude with a firework extravaganza at 9:15pm. Proceeds from the event benefit Building Homes for Heroes, Children in Crisis, and Food for Thought.  Destin vacation rentals are available in the vicinity for overnight accommodations.
