Get in the Groove in Fort Walton Beach

As a local who appreciates good live music, I center my plans around my favorite bands. It’s Friday night and Jones & Company, a local band with incredible talent, is playing in Fort Walton Beach at the Beal Street Bottle Club. This club is not typical for the area! You know, an open air beachfront restaurant where you go and pay way too much for food and watered down drinks in hopes that the band playing is somewhat decent.

Beal Street Bottle Club focuses solely on music.   Pay a small entry fee to hear the area’s most talented musicians without the overpriced glitz and glam. In fact the club encourages you to B.Y.O.B. If you want an alcoholic beverage you better bring one because the Beal Street Bottle Club only serves up non-alcoholic beverages which make great mixers for what is in your own brown bag. I choose to bring a bottle of my favorite Merlot. It was great not having to dish out $7.50 for a half glass of Barefoot.

Music starts at 9:00pm every night featuring a different musical experience. Of course Jones & Company was at their best with Cheryl Jones belting out tunes and Paul Scurto blowing out melody on the trumpet.   The dance floor was full with freestyle jams and everyone’s favorite the cupid shuffle.

Make sure to check out the amazing artwork displayed on the walls from local artists. Beal Street Bottle club is truly unique, attracting those with an
appreciation for creativity.
