Labor Day on 30A

Many look forward to Labor Day as their last shot to a summer getaway! It's a three day weekend at the end of summer allowing families to have one last fling before the school season. The Beaches of South Walton entice families each year with powder white sand, emerald green waters, and exciting events throughout the weekend.

Along 30A, possessing pastel houses and picket fences sits the small town of Seaside. Visit the Seaside Amphitheater on Saturday, August 31st for a spectacular Labor Day celebration! At 7:15pm the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra will perform a stirring concert as the sun goes down. Shortly after, an aw-inspiring fireworks display will take over the Gulf of Mexico. This is what creates special memories of summer time!

A little further down 30A and you will come to a pure, elegant, simple town named Alys Beach. It's a popular location for families to spend their Labor Day vacation. Visit Alys Beach Amphitheatre on Sunday, September 1st, at 8:00am, for the 2nd Annual Alys Beach 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run! You'll enjoy winding through the town, taking in the unique architecture, pristine wetlands, and gorgeous views of the beach. Featured in the event is an oversized obstacle course for kids of all ages. At the finish line you will be welcomed back with food, beverages, and live music!

Spend your last days of summer on the most beautiful beaches in Florida! Let South Walton assist in making memories this Labor Day season.
