Mardi Gras Madness in Northwest Florida: Pensacola & Pensacola Beach

The official day of Mardi Gras is February 12th 2013. Here in North West Florida, we don't like to limit our holidays to just one day. So if you're one that cannot get enough moon pies and baby cakes than you're in luck! Check out all the celebrations Pensacola and Pensacola Beach have to offer in 2013.

Pensacola Beach starts the festivities early on Friday, January 18th, at Sandshaker on Pensacola Beach Boulevard. Join the Mytic Krewe of Nereids' Moon Pie Party for all night dancing, fun activities, and music by Boogie Inc. Call up the krewes and tell them the party has started at Sandshaker's! Catch a moon pie and celebrate on the island. For more information about this even visit: www.sandshaker.com.

A full weekend of Mardi Gras Madness begins on Palafox in Pensacola. Friday, February 8th at 8:0pm join the Krewe of Lafitte for this one-of-a-kind Illuminated Parade! Then Saturday, February 9th at 2:00pm the Grand Mardi Gras Parade takes place at the Corner of Spring and Garden Street. Who could miss the biggies celebration of all....Fat Tuesday! On February 12th at 7:00pm join the Priscus Street Party Celebration. We will then crown this year's King and Queen Priscus. The party will last till midnight.
