New Surf Hut in Town

If there is one thing we can’t get enough of, it’s beach restaurants. Surf Hut is the newest addition to Old 98. Joining the ever popular tourist and local hot spots Crab Trap, Pompano Joe’s, and the Back Porch, is a new beachy restaurant right on the Gulf. The local reviews are in and overall it looks like it’s going to be a regular pit stop. Open air with a Caribbean-style atmosphere and optional seating right by the water, it’s a perfect place to grab a drink or meal before surfing. Families can also hang out while the kids play in the sand. The menu is comparable to Pompano Joe’s and will be a great place for seafood, BBQ, and burgers. Drinks are a little pricey and most are pushed with a Surf Hut souvenir glass so you might want to go down the road for those. But the fish tacos are getting lots of buzz around town. Stop in and check it out!
