Our Favorite Ways to Celebrate New Year’s Along the Emerald Coast

It’s time to say goodbye to the old and hello to the new. 2019 was a year full of fun in the sun on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The Emerald Coast of Florida just keeps getting better! Here’s some of our favorite ways to celebrate another year with our favorite beach towns of the Emerald Coast. 

Baytowne Countdown

Located in Miramar Beach, The Village of Baytowne Wharf invites you to join them at 6:00pm and ring in the New Year till after midnight! Dance the night away with live music in the Events Plaza and finish the evening off with fireworks over the lagoon. Kid friendly until 10:00pm then adult supervision is required. Admission is free and open to the public.

Gatsby New Year’s Eve Party 

Located in Santa Rosa Beach, Farm & Fire Southern Pizzeria invites you to ring in the new year in style. Countdown in roaring 20s attire and black tie (dress code is optional) on Tuesday, December 31st from 8:00pm to 12:30am. Tickets are $75, which includes dinner, a champagne toast at midnight, a DJ, a photo booth and more! There’s no better way to welcome 2020 then on the dance floor of our favorite pizzeria/speakeasy!

Rockin’ New Year’s Eve 

Located on the Destin harbor, HarborWalk Village rings in 2020 at the Emerald Grande. Enjoy a cocktail hour, two firework shows, a four-course dinner and live music. Dance all night long to the sounds of Nate Sexton & the Midnight Kiss. The celebration begins at 7:00pm and continues after midnight!

5 Parties on the Harbor

Located in Destin, Florida, HarborWalk Village celebrates a new year with not just one but five parties! On the main stage enjoy live music starting at 7:00pm. A Ball Drop Countdown will take place over the beautiful harbor along with music and fireworks at 8:00pm and Midnight. At 10:00pm you have your choice of Karaoke at Harry T’s Lighthouse, Party Like It’s 1999 at Coyote Ugly Saloon, Neon & Retro DJ Dance Party at Jackacuda’s Seafood & Sushi and a Masquerade Party at Margaritaville. Destin knows how to throw a party!

Flora-Bama New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

Located in Perdido Key, The Flora-Bama throws an exciting New Year’s Eve Celebration. Then come back to start the new year off right! Take the plunge with thousands of friends at the Flora-Bama Polar Bear Dip. Gather in costume, swimsuits and wetsuits at high noon. Those who fully submerge will get a free draft beer and a free New Year’s lunch of ham, black-eyed peas, greens and cornbread.
