Our Favorite Ways to Wine Along the Emerald Coast of Florida
When we are not sinking our feet in powder white sand, frolicking in the emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and taking in amazing sunsets, we are drinking wine. Yes, the Emerald Coast of Florida has developed a deep passion for wine over the years. Wine festivals, wine walkabouts, wine dinners, and wine tastings are some of our favorite activities outside of the beach. If you’re a wine enthusiast visiting the Emerald Coast of Florida, here are a few spots you will not want to miss.
UnWined in Panama City Beach
When visiting Panama
City Beach in summer make sure to get tickets to UnWined. This 2-day wine
festival is held at Aaron Bessant Park June 4th and 5th, 2021. Friday evening at 6:00pm kicks-off the event with “Top Chef” winner Kelsey Barnard Clark, custom cocktails, live music and more. The Grand Afternoon Tasting takes place on Saturday at 1:00pm. Stroll from tent to tent sipping on some of the tastiest craft beers, wines, and spirits from around the world.
Wine & Song: Uncorked at NEAT on 30A
When visiting South
Walton and 30A make sure to stop by NEAT on Tuesdays from 5:00-7:00pm. This
unique bottle shop and tasting room is in Alys Beach on 30A. You can dine inside or
al fresco on the patio under majestic palms. Choose a bottle from the Uncorked
wine list to pair with small plates and shareables.
Vin’tij Food & Wine at Grand Boulevard
When visiting Miramar
Beach Vin’tij Food & Wine is definitely a place to put on your list. This award-winning restaurant has been a favorite along the Emerald Coast for over 20 years. Here are a few reasons why. Destin Brewery Wine Tastings
I know what you’re thinking…wine at a brewery! This locally owned quaint little brewery is located on Mountain Drive, across from the Destin Harbor. Not only do they
serve up some delicious award-winning beers, every Friday night from
5:00-7:00pm they offer a wine tasting of unique boutique wines. Most of the
wines they pour include rare wines currently unavailable at retail outlets
along the Emerald Coast. Each week has a theme. One Friday you might be
visiting Italy tasting Italian wines, one Friday you may find yourself in
Spain. All destinations enjoyed on the beautiful beaches of Destin. Whether you’re a beer drinker, wine taster, or just looking for a cozy little local’s spot that reminds you of “Cheers” then Destin Brewery is your kind of place.
The Wine Bar on Palafox
When heading to your quaint Perdido Key condo you must make a
stop to The Wine Bar. Locally owned, this friendly, laid-back restaurant offers
an extensive wine list and gourmet cuisine. The food is always delicious, the
staff friendly, and the wine list is the best around. Stop by their wine shop
with some of the best prices around and stock up for your beach vacation.
