Seaside Hosts Annual Wine Festival

Fall festivals are among the most anticipated events for Destin, Florida residents and attract many to our beach communities. This November, the Seeing Red Wine Festival will take place in Seaside for its 26th year. Recognized by Fodor’s Travel as one of the “Top 10 Can’t Miss Fall Wine Festivals”, the four day event never disappoints.

The festival will begin on November 3rd with the Vintner’s Dinner at 7pm at Bud & Alley’s Restaurant. A special menu has been created by Executive Chef David Bishop. On Friday, the Al Fresco Reserve Tasting will be from 6-8pm with an impressive range of highly allocated and reserve wines as well as live music for the evening. Saturday will be the grand tasting from 1-4pm at Seaside’s Downtown Central Square. Along with an extensive array of wine for tasting and purchasing, food stations from local restaurants will be set up for the day. At the Great Southern Café on Sunday, a Celebration of Bubbles will take place from 10am-1pm. Brunch will be enjoyed as well as a variety of sparkling wines with live music playing. From 1-4pm at the Lyceum Lawn, there will be a silent auction with cocktails and food stations.

This annual festival is a fall favorite and 100% of the proceeds benefit Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation. The charming town of Seaside is the perfect location for spending the day outside. Seaside and 30A vacation rentals are available for overnight accommodations to enjoy the entire festival.
