The Destin Dog Park Gets an Upgrade

After two years, the Destin Florida dog park has lights! This past Monday night was the official lighting for the park. Over 100 people were able to attend the community event with their pets in tow. The park is located in the heart of Destin and has been a treasured addition to the area. Many visit the free park regularly with their four-legged friends taking full advantage of the designated field. Up until this week, that time was limited as the park would empty when the sun set. Residents as well as those traveling with pets on their Destin vacation will now be able to enjoy the park with their beloved pets outside of daylight hours. The new lights will be on from dusk until 10pm and back on at 6am every morning.
