The Pensacola Fair is Near

Pensacola Interstate Fair is coming to town. That’s right, get ready to feel like a kid again! Ten whole days of old-fashion family fun begins October 16th through the 26th. Located on West Mobile Highway in Pensacola, it is the largest and most exciting event held on the Gulf Coast.

What will this year at the fair bring? An endless good time with Fair rides and exhibits that will capture the attention of all. There’s a Custom Car show and wood carving exhibit for Dad and photographic arts and scrapbooking for mom. Bring the Kid’s out to meet Sponge Bob or check out The Great American Frontier Show. And what would a Fair be without a few farm animals running around. The whole family will have a ball with a variety of shows that cater to all ages.

The entertainment only gets better when the sun goes down with headliners like; 60 Cycles of Sound, Deadly Fists of Kun Fu, Joshua Stevens, and Billy Currington. If you’re like me and love your 80’s hair bands you're in luck! This year the fair offers some of the best with Dokken, Brett Michaels from Poison, and Slaughter. All of this and the entertainment is free with admission to the Fair.

Don’t forget the rides and yummy fair food. From Ferris Wheels to Giant Swings, corn dogs to cotton candy and the list goes on. Everything you remember when you were a kid but on a much grander scale. Make sure to eat responsibly, (after the Spinner).

So bring the whole family out to the Pensacola Interstate Fair in October, for a carnival of fun and a down-home good time!
