Things to do in Destin: Teen Edition

Last week, we talked about fun activities in our area for young kids. Now we will discuss ideas for the teenagers in town. Many of the options in our last post still apply, such as Fat Daddy’s arcade and The Track, but here are some more places to try.

Hurricane Lanes has a bowling alley, game room, and billiard room. It stays open late, has black light bowling, ski ball, air hockey, and ping pong tables. At the end of summer, the Destin Commons will have a new bowling alley in Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl and Grill. Mini golf is available down at The Track along with bumper cars and go karts. Fudpucker’s restaurant features a special night for teens with a DJ and dancing for ages 13-17. AMC theater in the Commons is a popular place for teens with an IMAX theater and arcade games in the lobby. HarborWalk Village has something for everyone including an interactive motion theatre, laser maze, and parasailing.

Over on 30A, Bruno’s Pizza has a great buffet available. Seaside has Central Square Records and Sundog Books, Heavenly gelato shop, bike rentals, and outdoor movies in the Square during the summer. Along with all of these options, there are miles of sugar white sand and clear blue water to enjoy! Skim boarding, surfing, jet skis, paddle boarding, and so much more. Hope you found some ideas to try out this weekend. Next week, we will discuss places to go and things to do for adults and couples.
