This Weekend Along the Emerald Coast

30A Beach Access

This year Easter weekend kicks off with Good Friday and three days full of fun on the Emerald Coast. Between outdoor concerts, outdoor movies, egg hunts and delicious Sunday bunches, your weekend is sure to be filled with eggciting events. Here’s a look at what this weekend brings to the Emerald Coast!

If you’re staying in a beautiful 30a vacation rental, then check out these local events over Easter weekend. Thursday and Friday nights on the green at 30Avenue an outdoor concert will be held from 6:00-9:00pm. Shop, dine and enjoy music under the stars on 30A. Seaside on 30a invites you to grab a blanket and come out to the Amphitheater for a family outdoor movie on Friday night at 7:30pm.

If you’re staying in a beachfront condo in Miramar Beach, then you’ll be just steps away from Silver Sands Premium Outlets. On Saturday, March 31st, from 10:00am-7:00pm, families can pick up an Easter egg with a mystery prize inside. Just around the corner at Baytowne Wharf, families can enjoy a day of entertainment. On Saturday, March 31st, from 12:00-3:00pm, join in on an Easter celebration including: lawn games, face-painting, kids crafts, a stilt walker making balloon animals and an inflatable obstacle course. The Easter bunny himself will be available for pictures.

If you’re staying in a vacation rental on Crystal Beach, you can hop over to the Destin Commons on Saturday and Sunday, March 31st and April 1st. Bass Pro Shops will be celebrating Easter with complimentary crafts, egg hunts and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Enjoy shopping and dining at Emerald Coast’s premier open-air lifestyle center.

If you’re staying in the heart of Destin, then the harbor is where you want to be. Harbor Walk Village is home to great restaurants, shopping and outdoor events all with a breathtaking view of the harbor. Join Grande Vista Bar & Grille for a delicious Easter Sunday brunch followed by a visit from the Easter Bunny. Of course, with breathtaking views of the beach you may decide to have Sunday brunch on the balcony of your Destin vacation rental. If that’s the case, can I suggest Monte Cristo sandwiches and BLT Waffle sliders. Recipe compliments of Cabin Fever Vacations

If you’re staying at the laid-back beach town of Perdido Key, you can enjoy the Emerald Coast’s beautiful beaches with fewer crowds. Spend Easter Sunday on powder white sand with emerald green gulf views. Head to a quaint little dive for brunch and just relax.

Whatever beach town you visit this weekend it is sure to be spectacular. Here’s a toast to Easter on the Emerald Coast with one of our favorite Sunday brunch recipes: Spring Moscow Mule.
