We Love the Nightlife

When your day at the beach ends and dinner is over, you might be anxious to check out some of the area’s nightlife you have heard about. Rather than go to the last place you remember seeing advertised in a banner across the sky, let us tell you the best places to be after hours. Club Bimini of AJ’s restaurant on the Harbor is a hot spot for live music and dancing with a great view overlooking the water. The Funky Blues Shack has locations in Destin near the Harbor and in Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin. You can grab some great seafood at their Grafitti restaurant before dancing to live music or singing karaoke on select nights. Hurricane Lanes near the Destin Commons is perfect for big groups since it has a little bit of everything: bowling, pool tables, ping pong, air hockey, as well as a full bar with excellent service. Coyote Ugly Saloon opened last year and is quite often a packed house. They offer live music, mechanical bull riding, and weekday specials.  But of course, they are known for their dancing waitresses that get the crowd going. The Red Bar in Grayton Beach is a national favorite with amazing food, eclectic décor, live Jazz music, and the bar stays open late on weekends. These are some of the usual local spots but there are much more. HarborWalk Village has some great spots as well as beautiful views. Dance the night away or relax listening to some live tunes and then get a good night’s rest to start all over again the next day.
