Wonderful Stay in August

Overall Comment
Our group of 13 fit great at Andrea's Island. The bedroom layout is nice with two bedrooms on the first floor and two on the second floor with surprisingly little noise transfer between rooms. The location is about a 3 minute walk a little boardwalk to the closest beach access and 3 minutes on the sidewalk to the pool. The beach set up crew stance changed daily on which area our chairs were to be set up. I suggest trying the closest one first at the end of Crystal Beach Drive. The one at the end of Hutchinson Street is also nice with some parking and Camille's at the corner. It was marked where the daily chairs were to be set up and where general seating was allowed. Canopies were allowed as well.
The property was very clean and had needed kitchen items. Customer service from the property manager was great and able to be contacted via text. We had a light fixture break and a leak under the sink that were addressed via text.
We enjoyed the golf cart and were able to take it to the beach and also the shopping plaza for groceries. The bikes were nice for the kids to ride around the neighborhood circle.
Three trucks can fit in the driveway/garage but it is tight and has no street parking.
Sunsets were beautiful from the third floor balcony. A wonderful stay in Destin!

Overall Comment
No comfortable loungers, although it was stated prior to our arrival ice cold pool and no hot tub. It was also unfortunate the guests couldn’t have the fireplace on when it was chilly.

Hi Bruce, thank you for the review. The homeowners association is in charge of the pool area including the loungers so we have passed on your comments regarding the loungers. Gas Fireplaces in rental homes are never a good idea as many guest have not had the opportunity to use one before so on the side of safety the owners of this home had the fireplace disconnected many years ago. We had a great experience at this house. The location is great, the house is really nice and roomy. The golf cart, bikes and beach service are a great added bonus! I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this house. The management company is very organized and helpful.

From the moment I booked Andrea's Island, to the very last day of our stay, there was nothing I would change. The Frangista Beach staff answered every question quickly and in a friendly manner. The house itself met my family's needs and was beautiful, clean and perfect. The access to the beach was perfect and we appreciated the golf cart and bicycles! Definitely would like to book the same house next year.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Patrick the maintenance guy was extremely helpful. Also the owner added 4 bikes and a 4 seater golf cart which made our stay even more amazing! The neighborhood was gorgeous! It was so close to the beach. The house was beautiful! Thanks again for everything!!
