This unit was perfect for my family's needs! Loved being on the ground floor with easy access to pool and beach. The unit was very clean, nicely decorated, kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

We've been coming to Destin for the last nine years, and this unit is one of the best maintained. Nothing broke down during our stay. The pool area was very nice, and the beach service is excellent.

My wife and I , along with our 2 year old stayed in unit 206 from 5/6 til 5/13. We has stayed in Edgewater before and returned because of its ease of access to the beach and great food. We were not disappointed on this visit.
The Unit was clean and perfectly suited to our needs. It has been kept up to date, and other than some remote control issues everything The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms have enough pressure to keep us happy.
The beach was beautiful as usual and the perk of the beach chairs is wonderful. It makes it so much easier when you do not have to lug all of your stuff and chairs to the beach. The staff we encountered were always friendly and accommodating.
The only down part of the experoence was the "swamp" that we had to walk through to get to and from the beach. New sod has been recently placed and stayed very soggy. A very small inconvenience overall, but I feel like I can't just gush.
Food in the area is amazing. We found two places new to us that were amazing and within 5 minutes of the condo. Try Whale's Tail (Mahi Wrap) and Kenny D's.

Two Thumbs Up!! - Unit 206

This was our sixth winter in Destin and Edgewater (for 2 months), so that tells you something (about Edgewater).
This was our first rental of Unit 206 which is a walk-out unit and recently renovated with granite, beautiful tile floors in living room area and kitchen and a walk-in shower in master bath. Condo was very clean, very tastefully decorated and well furnished with all the comforts of home. Edgewater Beach is in a wonderful location (within walking distances to many stores and restaurants). And the beach, is to die for. Even in the winter the waters are emerald blue and great for walking (and dreaming). The grounds and facilities within Edgewater are very well maintained. The management company does a wonderful job keeping it up. If a problem does arise, they are "johnny on the spot" to fix it.
If I did have one warning about Unit 206, it is to "stay away during the months of January and February". Because of its location within the facility (first floor over the drive into the underground garage), it can get very very cold when the temperature drops. Floors were unbearably "cold". My recommendation for the owners would be to add thick area rugs in the living and dining area. This is our "only" complaint about this unit. We did love it from first walking in and would stay again in a heartbeat but not during the winter.

Everything is great about Edgewater except for the front office staff. I don't think they should be in the service industry.
