Great beach getaway

Love, love the Edgewater Beach property in Destin! Have stayed here numerous times over the past ten years, and always a wonderful experience. Excellent management, huge private beach, two beautiful pools, workout room, and walking distance to grocery and several restaurants.
This was my first stay in Unit #414. It has a very nice location, close to the pools and beach, but unit itself could use some updating in furnishings - like new carpet in bedrooms and new sofas; and master bedroom is way too small for the huge king size bed (which could also use a new mattress). It consumes the whole room and is the reason for my average rating in comfort - left with major leg bruises from running into the footboard!
Overall, a pleasant unit, but have enjoyed other units here much better.

Home away from home

This is our home away from home. The temp's were just right (maybe a little cool) for us northerners from Ohio when we visited in april. The water was still cool this time of year, but that didn't bother us, we still got in and had a great time. This unit is the one we keep coming back to everytime we visit Destin. It is always beautfilly kept and the best part...we can see the beach from our master bed! Love it! We also love the fact that it has a full kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit. We always walk across the street to get our steamed and medium seasoned shrimp from Skipper's and take home some scallops for dinner. Also right across the street on Poinciana is a great community church called Destiny Worship Center (they have a great kids program too). Enjoy your visit!

This is the second stay in 414. Worked very well for our family. The first stay was right after remodel. This time after several years still nice just bed and sofa in need of a little update after being used so much. Other than that it was great.

Our stay was wonderful, as always. Condo's are always very clean. I love to wawke up and sit on the balcony and have coffee. Every unit has a beautiful beachfront view. The property is so close to the beach. We love the new umbrella's!! People were sitting under them every day. Please add more!! They are beautiful, and now, if there are enough when my Grandchildren come in the summer, I will be able to sit out there and enjoy watching them swim!!! Thank you!!! Marilyn Janelle Masters

Great location and nicely furnished

Edgewater is on a less crowded end of Destin located within walking distance from the Outlet Mall. The unit was nicely furnished. Small leak in the coffee pot but management noted and will replace. Wifi did not work but was able to access wifi through another unit. Unit located near front of complex and covered parking a huge bonus if you are not driving a SUV of oversized vehicle.
