It's okay. Nice that chairs were already paid for, but nothing spectacular about the location or facility. The only bad part/needs improvement is the location of the elevator and the trash chute. Still in decent condition for an older location.

The rental was updated and decorated well although there is no place to store food other than the refrigerator. The Management was agreeable, but there was someone in the condo everyday working on something. The condo was clean except for the hairs on the bathroom wall and floor from the previous guests. This unit has a great view and comfortable bed. The couch could use some help. Guests need to be told that in order to be complimentary chairs on the beach someone in the party has to be on the beach at 7:30 am to claim them each day. They are not reserved.

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing time in the condo. The view from the balcony was stunning. Loved having morning coffee and evening cocktails while soaking in the beach view. The decor was perfectly beachy all done in blue and white, my personal favorite. Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

This unit exceeded all our expectations! We have a 3 year old and an 11 year old, and both were very comfortable. The unit had plenty of bed linens for the pull out bed for my girls. The property was very clean and friendly staff. We will definitely be staying here for our future Destin family vacations.

Very spacious one bed one bath condo in the holiday isle area of Destin. Condo was fully equipped with everything you would need to be comfortable, plenty of extra bedding to host a family of 4. Holiday Surf Unit 422 Was Perfect!!

Unit 422 is the perfect beachfront condo for couples looking for a peaceful getaway. The property description was spot-on and the pictures were exactly as expected. The front desk staff greeted us with friendly smiles and professional service and were always available for assistance. The entire property is extremely well maintained, from the parking lot, front entrances, lobby, restrooms, pool and patio area, and the decking which leads to the beach. The beach chairs and umbrellas were promptly set up each morning and the beaches were clean with super white sand. Unit 422 has all the amenities you need and is absolutely gorgeous throughout. The king bed was nice and firm and all the furniture was in tip-top shape. The lighting in the condo nice and as bright as you want it. The patio is perfect for your morning coffee as well as beverages and snacks in the evening as the ocean views are spectacular. We saw dolphins every evening swimming right up to the shoreline and playing in the water. The location is an easy drive to-and-from the airport and you’re just minutes away from the grocery store, pharmacy, Target, restaurants, cocktail bars, and local seafood markets. We highly recommend the Holiday Surf and Racquet Club, particularly Unit 422.

My husband and I had a wonderful vaca at Holiday Surf. We stayed in unit #422 and were very comfortable in it. Kitchen was well equipped and the furniture and deco was very nice. Only complaints were the bedroom needs room darkening window treatment and the bathroom needs some shelving or cabinet for storage.

The unit was not very clean when we arrived. I had to clean unit when we got there. Sink in bathroom did not drain. Curtain hem was out on sliding doors. The cushions on the couch did not fit the couch so we really could not use it.

We always love staying at Holiday Surf and Racquet, been going there since 1981. This unit looks to have had some update but needs more. There is also a musty smell in the bedroom, maybe the carpet got wet and was not dried properly. Drapes in the den need repairing and the kitchen needs additional items such as mixing bowls and cookie/baking sheets.

There were 2 of us in this condo. It was very spacious and worked out well for us. the king bed was an older mattress but comfortable enough, no dips. The only minor complaints we had was the bedroom window covering (although covered well)did not block morning light. Also the sofa in the living area is clean but dated. It is very uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. Our stay was great. The sunset views from the balcony are priceless. I would go back to this condo. I just wanted to note those few things that could be improved that could make a stay 5 star for me.

The condo was okay but could use some upgrades! It is more like a hotel setting than a beach condo in my opinion. Reasons: it has outdated blue indoor outdoor carpet in living and bedroom areas. The fan in the bathroom is very loud. Dishwasher doesn’t clean the dishes well. With a bit of tic, it could be a great condo.

Overall, the experience was great. The staff was very nice and helpful. My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be back! The only complaint I had was when we first went to take a shower, there were a few hairs leftover on the wall of the tub from whoever was there before us.

We stayed here and absolutely loved it! We had the best view. The rental unit was exactly as pictured and described. It was clean and fully furnished with all the dishes and appliances that we would need. Beautiful view right on the beachfront. The only thing is sometimes you would have to go early and claim a chair if you wanted to sit on the water edge of the beach because people go early and claim their spot for the day. There were always available chairs and umbrellas just sometimes behind that front row on the beach behind the others, but still nice just the same. Close to all the shopping and tons of restaurants. The extra daily activity tickets were awesome that were provided with the unit. The escape room was fun, the dolphin cruise was awesome and the fishing experience amazing! Will definitely stay here again!

Overall, we had a good vacation. However, the first night I tripped over the high threshold going out to the balcony. Had to go to the er, have stitches,etc. The manager, Greg mcneely, was great to us.refunded some of our expense. We like this property. However, the high threshold on the new hurricane doors needs to be marked with yellow tape or a warning posted. I fear many more accidents.
