We have stayed at Holiday Surf four or five times already, and this had to be the best! The weather was perfect (we were a little concerned about the hurricane). But the condo exceeded our expectations! There was nothing we did not like about it. Everything, from the colors of the walls to the decor, and oh my goodness, the view! I would highly recommend this condo!

August vacation for my husband and I

The location was great! The beach and pool area were really clean! The check in area was super nice and smelled great. I reserved a room in March that we really liked but received an email in May saying we had a room change due to the condo being sold. That was upsetting but figured we wouldn’t be in the room too often anyways. So our new room 509 could have been cleaned better though. There was black hair in the floor of the bathroom and living room from past guests. There was a hot Cheeto and corn kernel in the floor in the living room from past guests. The DVD player did not work and the door was stuck open. The staircases were stinky and needed to be pressure washed. We really enjoyed being able to rent movies for free but had to go buy our own DVD player to watch them. Our door code didn’t work when we got there, but a really nice lady came to our room ASAP and fixed it for us. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but would have appreciated our room being more clean.

This was a great location and the beach service was a great bonus. Our unit was very nice and the property is kept clean. Our only complaint would be that it is very clearly marked in various locations that this is a non-smoking facility; however, we had neighbors smoking on their balcony which made it less enjoyable to be outside. Additionally we did not book in advance and contacted the property management company the day of our arrival to check for availability of a unit. The front desk representative said she would have to go manually check units to see what was clean and available and wasn't sure when she could do that due to being the only one there. She was very helpful; however it took a few hours to get an answer where we were considering leaving the area and moving on to Pensacola Beach. We were thankful she was able to find a unit for us and get us in after all as we ended up having a great stay.

We stayed several years at Holiday S&R Club In the 80’s & 90’s. Thought this year let’s stay there again for old times sake. So glad we did! It’s quieter on Holiday Isle & the beach is beautiful. Room was very nice & views from 5th floor gorgeous! Fun watching the fishing ships go in & out each day.

There is so much space. The bed feels like a cloud and they provide a billion pillows and extra blankets. There was only 2 of us for this trip. They supply everything you would need in a kitchen. We went to the store to buy breakfast and lunch foods and put them in the fridge for the week so we wouldnt have to leave for town besides dinner. You are right on the beach with an AMAZING view. The cost to get to town via uber is roughly $8-$11 one way. So roughly a $16-$20 roundtrip visit to the harbor boardwalk area. It is about $35 to uber from destin-fort Walton airport to the racquette club as well! We loved our stay. They provide FREE movie rentals for your convenience in case the weather keeps you inside. It's sort of like a redbox but they give you a card that gives you unlimited movies for your stay. You'll have wifi and cable as well! Check in isn't til 4pm, but if you arrive early, they will let you in no earlier than 1pm if the room is already empty and clean. Check out is 10am. They will give you a little reservation card with a clip on it that way if you would like to reserve an umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach, you're welcome to go down around 8/9am and place your reservation on any untagged umbrella. Then you can just leave it there for the day and come back whenever you please and it will remain reserved for you. Just remember to go pick it up around 7/8 PM because that is when they put the chairs and umbrellas back up. They also offer surf board and paddleboard rentals right on the beach! I do recommend bringing something to float on if you can because trust me, you will want one eventually!

Perfect! I would only add to come off some of the rules a bit. We are responsible adults and we take care of our planet. We should not have to suffer for those other irresponsible individuals. Also put a floor mat inside the front entrance and down the ramp to elevators, with the rain wet floors, we almost broke our backs falling on the slippery floors...i had to put out wet floor signs and advise front desk to mop up the wet floors.

It was a great experience and the facility was very clean and nice. The only negative take away we had was we the price of the rental they could have provided toilet paper. We ran out halfway through our stay. The front desk said it wasn't included.

Last week my husband and two small children ages 1 and 2 stayed in condo 509. I was extremely satisfied with how spacey and clean the condo was. This condo was equipped with everything you would need on a stay. We absolutely loved the views and the balcony. Would recommend this condo!!!

This is a really nice beach spot. The condo had a balcony with an ocean view. A pretty nice size for a one bedroom. The only drawback was that there wasn’t in unit laundry, only coin laundry on the floors above and below. Two complimentary beach chairs and an umbrella each day! Also, they gave you one free activity per person, per day- that was really unexpected.

We loved this rental. We booked at the last minute and was worried about not knowing anything about the property. We were nothing but pleased with the entire experience. Overall was good. Bed way too soft though, was hard to even roll over and couch was super saggy. WiFi was very spotty. Property was extremely clean and management was friendly. Beach was perfect except for 1 day when a family was tossing glass bottles around, chain smoking, screaming and blasting music. The law was mentioned about glass on the beach, but the were belligerent and did not care. No one addressed it and many beachgoers left and went to the pool. Same family partied on their balcony late into the night. Other than that, great stay. We come every year.
