We throughly enjoyed our stay as always and look forward to returning in the future. The only issue we had was with the Tvs in property #513. We had the hardest time getting the one in the living room to turn on and connect and the one in the bedroom we couldn't even get it to change channels. Too many remotes made enjoying watching TV complicated. Other than that everything was wonderful.

Beautiful beachfront condo

We loved the location of the property and the amenities were great! The ONLY thing that I would complain about is the general cleanliness of the condo. It was just very dirty and dusty around the baseboards and the vent fans. It just really needed a good, deep cleaning in general--floors, windows, walls, etc. For the amount of money we paid, I expected the property to be in tip top shape, but the furniture had seen better days for sure! The staff was very nice and we loved the view. The updated kitchen was beautiful with granite countertops and beautiful cabinetry. If the condo had been cleaned really well, I would have no complaints at all!

We have stayed in this condo multiple times but have been this disappointed. This condo was run down and filthy. There was mold in the bath tub. The blankets and sheets WERE NOT washed before our stay and the bathroom floor had gross leftovers from the previous renters.
Our friends found bed bugs in their condo just a few down from this one so I have been on edge ever since coming home that we carried them home.
This room and cleaning staff is in major need of a pick me up.
After 5 consecutive years of coming here, we plan to take our business elsewhere next year.
We are thankful for the memories we have made though.

The property needed the thorough cleaning and updates to bathroom. We reported problems with lighting and Electric in kitchen but never received a response. The bedroom came with a sheet and thin bedspread. No extra blankets were available. Could not really enjoy the patio as it faced our next door neighbors; no privacy. Well I would recommend holiday surf oh, we would not recommend this particular unit.

We do strive to have an efficient response time when an issue arise so that our guest are able to relax and enjoy their stay. In regards to the lighting and electric in the kitchen We were able to look into the work orders to see if the issue with the lights and electric had been addressed. As of October 27th our maintenance technicians were unable to find any issues with the lights or electric, but we will make sure to monitor the situation closely so we will able to take immediate action. We also have reached out to housekeeping to insure unit 513 will stay stocked with extra blankets as well. We do value you as our guest and we hope to have the chance to host you again.

I like the location. The unit I stayed in could have been cleaner. The carpets were dirty and it was obvious the unit has been used a lot and needed to be updated. I love the location of the complex and would stay there agin, however I would choose another unit to rent.

Enjoyable Stay, Minor Updates Needed

We have been traveling to Destin for Fourth of July the past ~10 years, Holiday Surf & Racquet for 5 of those years. The updates to the lobby were much needed and well done.
Unit 513 was decorated in a very modern way to our taste and also had great upgraded appliances and TVs. The view was fantastic (as with most units) and fairly close to the elevator (for those heavy grocery hauls!).
The only real negatives were in the kitchen flooring and bathroom. The flooring in the kitchen seemed slightly unfinished in a small potion under the counters, functions fine but not aesthetically appealing. The bathroom seemed to have a slow leak from the toilet and some of the wood on the sink cabinetry could use replacing. Bed was a bit firm for my wife’s taste, but I found it comfortable.
Overall a very enjoyable stay, with some minor work done this would be five stars and probably one of the top one bedroom units on the property.

When we first arrived, there was an issue with our room's new keyless entry system. The code given to us was not working. Had to wait about an hour or so for one of the maintenance workers (Sam) to fix it. Sam was incredible! So much so, that we bought him donuts to thank him for all of his hard work! Front desk staff was incredibly helpful (and delightful) throughout this process as well. Would not want to stay anywhere else in Destin!

Upon arrival only one elevator in service. With only one elevator working at check in (LOTS of folks trying to get their luggage to their unit) causing long wait times trying to get settled into the unit. Our unit (#513) was very nice maintained well. We did have issue with the AC unit, but maintenance folks took care of it ASAP.
Overall, the property appears to be ready for major remodel. Paint peeling, rust, etc. At first glance we were concerned that our units would look like the overall appearance of the property.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Holiday Surf. Hope to get back for another vacation after property has much needed 'face-lift'...
