Great location, but condo needs a little work

Loved the location because its right on the beach but not too crowded. The shower needs a lot of work. There is water you can feel that is trapped under the tub and shower curtain rod has duck tape on it. Also, it would be nice to at least have some coffee for the first day and salt/pepper. No extras in this condo and overall needs some updating.

We love the area and the room. The beach was an easy-quick walk. The pool was amazing and the tennis/pickle-ball courts were a big hit! We played tennis in the rain and that was so fun. The room was plenty big for our four adults and two kids. The pull down bed was somewhat comfortable-I liked it, my husband did not! The furniture could be updated, but would not keep me from staying here again! We loved our time in 516!

We love Holiday Surf and Raquet club. This unit 516 was good with easy access to the stairs and not too far from the elevator. The bed was comfortable and patio overlooking the beach amazing. The kitchen was stocked with all necessities and everything worked great. The bathroom did have a small issue and the shower head was loose and not caulked to the shower wall (4 stars on property condition). However, the shower was still functional.

We always love the Holiday Surf & Racquet Club! This was our first time staying in 516, and we have zero complaints! The Murphy bed was excellent— easy to pull down for the night and put back up for the full living room space. Between that and the bed in the room, my husband and I and our two little ones were able to sleep comfortably. We made wonderful memories together on our trip, and this condo was the perfect home base for us. Thank you!!!

Wonderful Time Again at HSRC/Need One Change If Possible

Our condo fit our needs perfectly, and was in excellent condition and very clean upon arrival. We loved our balcony furniture set up too. If you are bringing 3 or 4 people with you, the Murphy bed is a must. It's more comfortable than most roll out couches. We stayed in the unit back in 2015, so love the upgrades since then. The only concern we have, that would like to see changed, is the new beach chair set up. In the past, now we weren't here in '20 or '21, but a decade straight before then, you could get your set up and tag for your requested location to the chair guys the first morning you are there for your stay. Now, the set up is first come first serve every morning. That requires someone from your party to get up each morning (very early) to find the set up guy and place your tag on the umbrella. We like to sleep in a little on vacation, so that isn't an option. I think that added step could be removed and go back to how the original set up was where you give the tag to the chair guy and he sets it up for you for the duration of your stay. Staff were very helpful and professional. We had a problem with the oven, and it was immediately taken care of. We look forward to coming back next year! The only reason I give 4 stars for overall is the beach set up situation described above. All other areas are a 5.

The property was amazing. Our room was clean and spacious. This particular unit was located in the best area to see and hear the waves. Every staff member that we dealt with was great. My only complaint was the fact that we had to go and buy toilet tissue on our last day. There was one roll to use when we arrived and one roll in the cabinet. We called for more to be brought and were told we were only allowed two rolls for the week. I thought this was very aggravating for such a nice and expensive place.

Kept extremely clean. You can get essentials without getting into the main traffic. Many places to visit under 5 miles. Condo was perfect for me and my husband. Only thing that I would not give 5 stars would be the cleaning crew. The coni had obviously been cleaned, it could have been a little better. The outside halls could also be kept a little cleaner. With that said, I will definitely be going back. Cant wait.

The view from the room was great and the beach setup was also a plus. The room itself was nice but the cleaning crew needs to do a better job preparing the room for new guests. The area/location is quiet. I highly recommend a rental car as Uber and Lyft drivers are scarce and an average of a 30 minute wait if you’re lucky to get one. Overall it was a positive experience.

This was our 5th stay over the last ten years. We love the location of the condos, but this was not a good experience. We had constant problems with out unit. It was very run downed. Most of our issues were taken care of by a very nice staff. We have decided to find another place to stay on our future visits.

This rental was exactly as it was described and so comfortable and perfect for my beach desires! The view was incredible and I could enjoy time on the beach (only steps away) and continue my fun on the deck overlooking the people having fun in the pool and on the tennis courts.
This rental is very well stocked, kitchen has every utensil and appliance I needed. Pleasing decor complements the entire experience. The deck furniture was very comfortable too. I will definitely be back and requesting unit 516!

Beautiful room. Just a few little things were messed up. Air conditioner wasn’t working. But they fixed it. Tv didn’t work but they fixed it. Bed was hard. Door locked messed up a few times. But other than those it was all beautiful. The people who worked there were all friendly and helpful.

We arrived early in Destin and I called to see if our room was available if we could have an early check in. She said we could go ahead and check in and use the pool until our room was available.. probably 45 mins later she called and said we could go to our room. Our room was very nice just like in the pictures.front desk was Wonderful. Only complaint I have is the light fixture over the table.. it hangs in a bad spot we all hit our heads on it.. I'm surprised it hasn't been broken. I feel it needs a ceiling mount.. it was painful!!:other than that we had a wonderful experience and would stay here again

This was our second visit to Holiday Surf and Racquet Club. This is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in 516. Our condo was beautifully updated and clean. The only draw back was that the bed was so hard it felt like you were laying on the floor and I couldn't sleep in it. My husband and I both thought we were laying on two box springs but it was a mattress. I spent the entire week sleeping on the Murphy bed separate from my husband because he was too long for the Murphy bed. We did however have a perfect view and this location was perfect for morning walks to the jetties. All and all we would return.
