Condo was clean and had an excellent view!The staff were all great! Cons:Needs new mattresses, you have to take your own garbage out which is in the parking lot and a long way from your room, could only get 1 of the 3 TVs to work..I didn't ask for help but I think in this day the TVs should just be smart TVs and drop the cable. Overall I would recommend to stay here but just be prepared to walk alot to get anywhere.

The only thing I was a little sad about, we couldn’t smoke on the balcony. Other than that, it was amazing n even tho I couldn’t smoke, I would still booked them again.

Destin has stunning beaches. The condo was clean and comfortable. We were not a fan of the long and winding walk to the room outside the building. It was scary after dark with all the hiding places along the way. Beautiful views. Hot afternoon sun on the patio. The staff was very nice and helpful. Lots of nearby restaurants but be prepared, the prices are HIGH but the food is good. We enjoyed the McGuires Irish Pub the most. The pool was beautiful and well maintained.

Overall Comment
Thus condo was adequate. Comfortable furniture but not colorful. I found the kitchen poorly equipped. Had to purchase a few things to leave for the next guest. Cookie sheet and a vegetable peeler. I have been staying with Holiday Surf for close to 20 years. And will return soon. But i think i will check with VRBO. The private owners give a much better ambiance. 524 is where i was back in April it was awsome.

We have stayed at Holiday Surf and Racquet Club multiple times and we will be returning. Loved this unit so much. The view was great and it has super easy beach access. We had a water leak while we were there so the water had to be turned off for a few hours at one point, but the property kept us completely updated so we could schedule accordingly. Overall, we loved Holiday Surf Unit 523 and we will be back!

We booked another unit & were forced to switch to another with under 30 days to check in due to unit sale. The photos are not very representative of actual unit. Housekeeping did a nice job with cleaning the damaged & old unit. Carpets were already showing some wear & tear. Painting needs to be completed. Entire unit #523 needs updating & basic needs were missing from kitchen (cutting board, sheet pan, scrub sponges). All kitchen pots & pans were old & damaged. The HSRC property management team (Brittany, Vicki & Michelle) stepped in & provided some new basic necessities for the kitchen. Unit has stained & broken furniture, very old decor, & lacks many cooking needs for folks that travel in to a beach town. Positives - Spectacular view, location & safety. I do not hold VRBO or HSRC responsible for these issues, but the owner of this property needs so help. Thank you!

We stayed in Unit 523. Thankfully they had carts for us to use. I would choose a room closer to the elevator. The furniture/bedding/décor was a bit outdated but comfortable. Kitchen counter was stained and had scratches on it, ice maker didn't work. AWESOME water pressure in the showers, super cold A/C! Pool is nice, staff is very pleasant, secure location/gated. I saw 3 cockroaches in our unit and reported it to the front desk. Hopefully they took care of it before the next crew checked in! I will never stay in another condo that doesn't have a washer and dryer in the unit but didn't realize it until the day before we checked in. You have to get up EARLY and take your beach tag down and put it on an umbrella if you plan on having a place to sit during the day; otherwise, they are all spoken for by about 8:30-9 am. The beach staff was a bit rude but thankfully I didn't have to deal with them more than twice. Overall, it's a very nice place to stay.

Overall once we were able to check in it was great. However, initially check in was at 4, since we were early we went to eat and was told we would get a text. We came back at 5 and the front desk was still unsure if our room was ready. They were very nice about it, tried asking housekeeping (or whoever) and did not get a timely response so she just let us take a chance and gave us the room code.

The condo was very clean. The employees are very nice and friendly. We had three couples in the two bedroom condo with a fold out couch. The fold out couch was one of the worst I have even tried to sleep on I believe putting some extra money in a new one or buy a very good new mattress would work. The two couples that used the couch both got up with very bad back and leg pain. That is the only consider that we had. We will rent again but only two couples per condo with two beds.

We chose this unit because of the location since it is next to an end unit and provides a great view of the ocean. The unit itself is very basic and somewhat dated in regards to furnishings and decor. The staff at Holiday Surf was great and responded very quickly to some minor issues we had with the unit the evening of check-in.
