If you want a quality location and "life making" memory's vacation, you will find it at the Sandy Toes Cottage. Quiet location, very close to the beach and restaurants was an outstanding experience. Walking path along with immediate access to the beach across the street make it the perfect location. One of the best my family has ever stayed. Highly recommend.

Overall Comment
We have been vacationing in Destin for the past 9 years and this property is by far one of the best. It was very well stocked when cooking utensils and dishware. Perfect location away from the busy traffic and quiet neighborhood, but just a 5 min walk to the private beach. Will definitely be looking to book this property again in the future!

The few minor things that needed looked at were taken care of immediately by management. Their customer service was exceptional! Beautiful property, clean, modern and spacious. The beds were pretty comfortable too. I would suggest more plastic food storage containers in different sizes.

Stayed here with 6 friends and we had the best experience. We had a great time at the beach, eating and drinking out, and cooking. Conveniently located close to the beach. Definitely returning again!

Great location in a gated community and a short walk to to a private beach. The pool is a close but you don't hear the noise. The main living area is on the 2nd floor along with a Master Bedroom.
Room layout can accommodate 8 to 10 comfortably. Only 2 allocated parking spaces so make reservations for Additional parking space which is close to the gym and pool area
Several good restaurants within walking distance. The gated community is safe for kids to ride their bikes and play outside and the pool is completely fenced.
Clean and no major maintenance issues. The Management Company is very attentive and in contact with you to clarify any questions or problems.
This was our 2nd stay in the Beach Retreat Community and we plan to make another reservation for next year.

Best Family Vacation Ever

After not being able to travel with the family for the past 2 pandemic years, I decided to rent this property for our entire family for a relaxing vacation. This property did not disappoint, and the pictures were spot on. Let's start with the Pros; Very close to the beach and pool with just a short walk. Very spacious for alot of family fun, the balcony was my morning spot for coffee and discussion. The area was very quiet and everyone was very friendly. There was plenty of pots and pans dishes for us to make any meal of our choosing. Now for the Cons: We noticed there were a couple of toilets that constantly ran, I placed a call to management and they were Johnny on the spot with the repairs. I still noticed a day later that one of the toilets was still acting up but honestly forgot to give them a call to fix. If I had to pick one thing that was very disappointing, that would be the bunk beds on the main floor. They sagged like they were about to collapse, and they also made a very loud noise when the kids tossed and turned in their sleep. Other than that It was a very great stay.

This place was great for my family of adults and small children. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location is amazing, just a short walk to the beach and close to local restaurants. Also loved that it is a gated community. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect house for families

The house was perfect for two families. It has enough room for all. The pool is basically in the back yard and the ocean is a short walk. We loved that we could quickly walk to restaurants and a few stores. We will be booking this house again for next Spring Break.

We loved our stay at 21 Cottage Row! This house is close to the pool and beach access and we liked that it sits behind gated access. The house was spacious, clean and well equipped. We found the beds to be comfortable and the air conditioning to work great. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

We really enjoyed the cottage and had plenty of room for our family. The weather was chilly but the heated pool and hot tub were great. The house was very clean and we appreciated the pool towels and kitchen equipment. I highly recommend this property and we are a very picky bunch. Whenever I had a question , Hector our contact was wonderful.

Spacious, Clean Home in a Fantastic Location

We had a great stay at Sandy Toes. The home was well-equipped and had plenty of space with four bedrooms and three full baths (plus another 1/2 bath.) The upstairs front porch was nice to sit out and relax. There was a great community pool right by the house and never really busy, and the beach was a short walk across the street. The included beach chair service was a great perk, and the house had nice beach towels to use. Pompano Joe's is a short walk with many other restaurants very close by. We rented a golf cart, and it was fun to take to all of the nearby restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!

Really a great location, easy walk across the beach, if you're a runner, the 1 mile is just past Alvin's and the 2-mile mark is at the Embassy Suites can walk to Alvin's for additional beach gear if you need it, grocery is about 2 miles away, but a CVS is pretty close by. The closest restaurant is Pompano Joes with downstairs grab and go or upstairs dining. Most days started with a run, beach, lunch, pool, going on or down to Crab Island. We got lucky with weather, every day was good, even though hot, no problem with ocean and pool. Although there were a lot of families in Cottage row, property is just far enough from pool to be relatively quiet.

This is our 3rd year in this neighborhood. We love this area and were happy to be able to stay there this year even though we needed 4 bedrooms. The layout was a little odd having the kitchen upstairs, but it all worked out fine and the entire group of us enjoyed our stay.

Our first trip to Destin was so enjoyable and the house at 12 Sandy Toes made it even better. The house gave our family of 11 a ton of room. In addition, it was conveniently located near the pool and a very short walk to the beautiful Destin beach. The house was adorably decorated and provided everything you might need. The management company was very responsive as well, quick to respond to any questions. Restaurants within a short walking distance were great!
