Huge Condo at Prefect Location

We rented this condo at the last minute as our reservations in Gulf Shores were canceled due to Hurricane Sally. The condo was large and clean and while it didn’t have a true balcony there were beautiful views of the gulf from the study and the second bedroom. Access to the beach was perfect. Only negative is the condo is very dated; doesn’t appear to have been updated since the deaths of the owners about 18 years ago. While I was extremely interested in the owners history, that was present throughout the condo, it seemed as if we were staying in someone’s home....

Four of us stayed at Shoreline Towers in April of 2018. We enjoyed everything about the condo, and will absolutely want to return for another vacation in this elegant, spotless condo. We loved the comfortable furniture, and were impressed with such a well stocked kitchen and bar! The location is centrally located for easy trips to restaurants, shopping, and exploring. The staff was super polite and helpful. We really enjoyed the beautiful views of the gulf, including sunrise and sunsets! The beach itself was awesome...... we felt like we were on a Caribbean island! We have traveled to many places, but this was one of the best vacations ever! Thank you for sharing your lovely beach home with us.

We are a family of four and stayed here for our annual beach trip. We had never stayed at Shoreline Towers. With that said, not only did Shoreline Towers exceed our expectations, the unit did as well. It is so spacious and exactly as described. What I enjoyed most about this unit is the history it is filled with. I couldn't get enough so I googled for more information on such an honorable serviceman. It's truly home away from home!

We've been vacationing in Destin and staying at Shoreline Towers for years. This was the best condo we've ever had. You truly felt as if you were staying in someone's home. The furnishings were very nice and the kitchen was the best stocked we've ever had. The only negatives would be the limited beach view and the beds weren't the most comfortable. All the other positives far outweigh the negatives though. We will definitely try to book this unit the next time our family vacations in Destin!

This condo was the inspiration of an American Hero. Lt. General Joesph Wilson, USAF. His condo is a testament to his selflish devotion to God and Country. Gen. Wilson was awarded more than 40 medals and commendations in the Air Force. Among them were the Distinguished Service Medal, three awards of the Legion of Merit, six awards of the Distinguished Flying Cross, 19 awards of the Air Medal and two awards of the Joint Services Commendation Medal.
He was wounded by flak that pierced the fuselage of his B-17 during World War II, his son said, but he refused to wear the Purple Heart he was entitled to, because, in the general's words, "Any damned fool can get shot."
Anyway, Its an honor to have spent time in his condo and even more remarkable that the family (Martha) has left the furnishings on changed; to share his legacy to all that visit.

The unit was very nice, clean and a close walk to the beach. There was question of whether we knew about two items potentially missing after we checked out that we knew nothing about. That will not deter a future visit and would like to rent the same unit again. The only negative was the pool was closed for two days and we were only there for four days.

Thank you for your review nice review. Unit 1106 is a lovely unit and very spacious. During this guests stay Destin had a very bad rain storm which flooded many of the streets and unfortunately the pool pump room. He is right ... the pool was closed until we filtered all of the rain water and had the pool back up to code. Glad he will come back and look forward to having him visit again. STAR Management.

This condo was a pleasant surprise as compared to previous rentals in various places! Very spacious, clean, and quiet. The beach was very clean and conveniently accessible from the condo, and there are many things to do all around without being directly in the middle of everything. Great gulf view from one side and harbor view on the other. We will definitely be back!

All 5 members of my family agree, we had the best vacation ever staying at shoreline condos. My daughter is in a wheelchair and while not completely accessible, (bathrooms) she had a LOT OF ROOM! The condo had everything we could want to relax, which we did. Highly recommend.
