Fall Break at Birdie-A

We spent 12 nights at Birdie-A over fall break with 4 adults and 2 children. The home has a modern floor plan with a primary bedroom on the ground floor and on the second level. The home was clean, well furnished, in a quiet community, and was very well stocked with amenities. We loved the location, close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The area was far less congested than Seaside and Rosemary Beach and was easy to get around. We brought a lot of home supplies that were never used because the homeowners had thought of everything. The kitchen was well stocked, and the items were of good quality and condition. We enjoyed the pickleball courts and tennis court. The walk to the beach from the front door to the sand was about 8-10 minutes on a beautiful private boardwalk. However, there was another 5-minute walk on the beach to reach a beach area not exclusive to the condominium complex that shares the boardwalk. Our only complaint was neither of the two community pools were heated and the water was so cold the children had no desire to swim. We loved Birdie-A and would not hesitate to rebook in the future. Additionally, Kelley of All 30A Properties was so professional and responded to all our questions quickly and communicated thoroughly throughout the rental process!

Despite the rain we had a good week. The house was clean and very comfortable. A suggestion would be to provide more information about the tv setup.

Annual family beach vacation

Beautiful home! Spotlessly clean! Perfect for our family of 10! Lots of space to spread out. 4 wonderful porches to enjoy the morning or evening breezes. Beds were wonderful, bathrooms amazing! Rent the golf cart. It’s great with large families to transport beach equipment to the boardwalk. We ride the golf cart every night to Blue Mountain for ice cream. Had a wonderful time!! We will be back next year!

6 adults and 3 kids (5,5,2) stayed 6 nights at The GRAYt Haven. The house was set up perfectly for our needs. The bunk bed room was perfect for our 3 kids. They even provided a night light. The heated pools were not heated as advertised but Kelley with 30A Properties was amazing to work with and got us heated pool access somewhere else. The only complaint I have was the limited dish soap/trash bags/laundry detergent/paper towel. (They did at least call it out in the property information so we knew what to expect ahead of time.) However, I'd gladly pay a little more a day or in "cleaning fees" to have those things included. It is hard to purchase only a weeks worth of detergents/trash bags/etc. so we ended up paying a lot more for things we weren't able to take on the plane with us.

Great Vacation at Grayton Beach

The house was great. Only 2 drawbacks. There was no code to the box for the golf cart. I know there's no changing this now, but when parking multiple cars it is hard to get golf cart out without moving multiple cars. The pools leave a lot to be desired. I didn't realize a long drive was necessary for beach access. Next time I only want oceanside.
