Resort nice, condo not clean

We really enjoyed our time at the Palms, but our condo was not as clean as we would’ve expected. Dust bunnies on floor, mold on ceiling in guest bathroom, handle of sliding door falling off, very hard to open. I tried reaching out to the rental company upon our arrival with no response. I’m sure we would stay at this resort again, but I would not book this condo again or any condo through this company.

Not What We Expected

The owner needs to replace items like the tv in the second bedroom that didn’t change channels and flashed like a strobe light, the pots and pans that are scratched beyond belief, and the dryer that takes 5 cycles to dry clothes and sounds like a freight train. The picture of the second bedroom is misleading. It does not show the full room, but has a bed against the wall and the only space is that shown in the pic. It is tiny. The cleaning crew didn’t clean well before we arrived and the place was filthy and had sheets that remained from the previous guest on the pullout. Walls are dinged and dirty.

It was very well kept condo. Clean and up to day on most things. The secound room was much smaller then what it looked like in the picture but we made it work. The washer and dry was very nice as well to have with all the beach wear we had.

The unit was beautiful and had everything, you would possibly need. Everything was clean and smelled fresh. Plenty of pillows, linen, kitchen was stocked with all possible equipment. I was able to cook. I brought my own cleaning supplies, but they provided that as well. I brought washing detergent but they provided detergent for at least one wash. The place was so wonderful, I hope to return. We enjoyed the pool most, even with low temperatures we couldn't resist it. I think this resort was superb. I had one hiccup when I arrived where after hours, there was no key for me and we had to call for assistance, but the security officer was more than helpful and kind. He offered all the help and then some. I was truly grateful.

The Palms condo is never disappointing. Our second consecutive year staying here and it's great. The second room on unit #2207 was a bit small and the master shower was not as big as our condo last year, but not too big of a deal.

I felt the condo was over priced for the location. Being a conference center it's more for large groups than a family to get away. While visiting there was a cheer competition, was loud especially at the pool area. However, when we arrived we were missing blankets, I called the number and blankets were delivered within a few hours. I do feel more pans could be utilized, and larger utensils for cooking.
