This was in a great location close to everything!! There is public parking for the beach right across Hwy 98 (the red light). Did get to use the pool/spa amenities, they were very nice.
The only thing that needs improvement would be that the hot water doesn't last very long. I still give this place 5 stars and would stay again and or recommend it to friends and family.

This was a perfect unit for a family of 4 that included a set of twin toddlers. We cooked in the unit, sat on the patio, and just enjoyed Destin for its beautiful February weather. The only down side was the splash pad was not on and it was perfectly warm outside (and this is coming from a Floridian) and a few things were not open fully because of renovations, but I get it--it was February. Also a great location to everything. I'm hoping we have this great of an experience when it's a little busier.

CeilingFans dirty, thick dust.
Smelled dirty/musty ick walking in.
Trash can smelled, old and dirty.
I needed to wipe down everything with lysol wipes.
Sprayed febreeze.
Doorwalls either did not work or were broken.
Showers filthy.
I cleaned for 3 hours before we were okay with staying there.
WE WILL NOT RETURN TO THAT SPECIFIC CONDO.

The room we stayed on was comfortable, spacious and clean. We didn't have issues. Check-in was easy in the lobby. Everyone loved the pool. Location is also a plus. It is close by the Beach, restaurants and shopping centers.
The only disappointment we had was the in house shuttle that promised to ferry guests to Henderson beach, according to the printed schedule. The driver did not inform ahead of time that he will not be bringing guests to Henderson. When we were at the public beach drop off, we asked to make sure he is going to Henderson after. That's when he informed us that he won't be goig there because it takes him so long to drop off there. So we just had to settle for the public beach. Catching the shuttle back is also trouble because the driver doesn't follow the schedule so you will be waiting long for him to come back. So, don't rely on their shuttle for any excursions you are planning.
Aside from this our stay was great!

LOVED our stay at the Palms Resort. The location is perfect, very close to Henderson State Park for beach access. The whirlpool (hot tub), heated pool, & lagoon pool were amazing! The bar area adjacent to the pool area was great to grab a drink & bite. They had live music one night during our stay. There was also a coffee shop, we didn't to try it, but it seemed to be very popular. Also an added bonus was having a washer & dryer in the condo; saved us from having loads of laundry once back home! I would definitely stay here again & highly recommend it.

We were very impressed at how easy it was to check in and access the amenities at the Paradise Palms. The unit was very clean and perfect for all of us. It was a great location as well. We did have trouble finding any extra trashbags. Overall, it was great!

Very nice place. Looked just like the pictures that were provided. Clean, spacious rooms. Nice balcony. Within walking distance to the beach. Lots to do around the condo. I would definitely recommend it to friends. We will be staying again.

This place was perfect. It had everything we needed. There were two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and a roll of paper towels so plenty for a weekend stay. There were extra towels under the counters. The washer and dryer is in the front closet so easy to access after the pool. The balcony was very safe for our two-year-old. We just had to buy food, bottled water and ice. Glad there was HBO for GOT. Key cards were testy on the front door, but the front desk fixed the problem right away. This particular room was nice and shady in the morning and offered great views of the sunset and incoming storms. There is a shuttle to the beach or the state park is under 5 minutes away. Food is available by the pool from the restaurant. There was a great warm pool for kids too. Only suggestion is that the carpet is ready for a good cleaning and being near the ocean, we put our dry food in the microwave in case any insects were around. We also never heard our neighbors so it was nice and quiet.

We loved this place. Everything was available that is needed! Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The only issue was trying to close the very heavy sliding door. It needs to be heavy for the storms that come to that area, so it is understandable. The company was easy to work with and would use them again.

Overall we were satisfied with the condo. We were notified when we first checked in that the ice maker and water didn’t work on the refrigerator. The ice maker was fixed the next day, but the water on the refrig did not work for the two weeks were there.

My family of three had a nice time at The Palms. The only issues were the dryer and the wifi. When we tried to use the dryer it started making a clunking sound after running for 20 minutes or so. Also, the wifi is not good at all. I know that we could have upgraded, but it seems like good wifi should be standard in this day and age and not a privilege. Other than that our stay was great. The Palms is in a good location, there were plenty of amenities, it was clean, service was friendly, and the amount of space was perfect for our family.

This was my first real vacation and I had a blast at Destin, FL. The Palm of Destin Resort is a great place to stay. Everyone f the front desk to other visitors were simply great and kind. Our place was clean and well equipped to meet most our needs. Just bring extra bath tissue. They won't furnish any extra. But, that was a minor thing for us. Walmart is close by! It's like home away from home. For those of us that don't like to carry a lot of dirty clothes back home, they have washers and dryers in the units! The space was great. I would stay there again.

This was our first trip to Destin and we chose this rental because of the special pricing at the time of the booking. Had we been familiar with the area we would have chosen a spot closer to the beach within walking distance. This unit is managed by a private company, and with that said, don't expect assistance from the front desk with any issues. We could not find the remote to the main tv in the living room when we arrived and tried to call the front desk and could never get anyone to answer. I emailed the property manager and never got a response. I found the remote under the couch the following day. The unit comes with free wifi but it is extremely slow when it does decide to work. The unit was very clean and spacious for our family, kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and you are provided with plenty of towels. You are only given one extra roll of toilet paper so make sure you go buy extra. My main complaint would be the beds, they were way too firm for my husband and I. If you normally sleep on a memory foam bed these will definitely have your body aching. This is a very nice resort and it has a huge pool area with plenty of seating but since we were there mainly to visit the beaches, we would choose a waterfront location in the future.

We had a great time staying at the Palms of Destin! The condo was nice and clean and has a great location. It is close to the beach and provides a free shuttle service to get around the area! There are several restaurants near by and a Walmart to buy groceries and last minute items. The pool at the resort is amazing! My family had a great vacation and really enjoyed our stay!
